Kenneth
The location was marvellous, for example, a fine arts museum was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. I enjoyed the shopping area. The room was appropriate, cosy and had an electronic key card, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
The bathroom was very small.

This was an excellent and absolutely perfect location really close to restaurants and night spots, the local tram line, and restuarants and historic land marks. It also was right next to the Castle.

I stayed at Hotel Du Chateau for a conference at the University campus. The central location was perfect, with the tramway station nearby and major attractions like the cathedral and castle in view from my room. The reception was friendly and helpful, and the king bed and bath robes added a touch of luxury. The wifi was reliable, and the on-site bar was a nice spot to unwind after a busy day. I also appreciated the excellent service when I lost a key in my room.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Quaint venue, competent and responsive staff. Continental breakfast with good food selection. Comfortable bed in triple room with an iron/ironing board, an electronic key card and a work desk. Perfect building, ideal location adjacent to the centre of town and the Sunday market. Also, very close to historic area.

Make sure you stay in the quadruple room with excellent bed, good shower, as for instance. They serve satisfactory breakfasts for all tastes with a croissant, orange juice, hot chocolate. The location is unbeatable, 1 km from a fine arts museum...

For the price I paid, Hotel Du Chateau was a hidden gem. The room was a bit old, as expected, but had all the necessary amenities and was well-maintained. The location was ideal, with monuments, restaurants, and the university within walking distance. The staff, although language barrier was present, were friendly, helpful, and quick to address any concerns.
Food for breakfast could have been more varied.

Location: the hotel was just off the castle and the tourism office, the centre of Caen and many restaurants and bars. Spent our evenings in nearby Le Napoli, especially when it was hot outside. All in all we loved good sized room with excellent bed, good shower, for example.

Came here for walking around, recommendable. Had fairly nice 3 nights here. Pleasant and always polite staff, offered us wake up calls and ironing. Really enjoyed our comfort queen room with a shower.
